JOB SUMMARY:

The Owens&Minor College Intern program is designed to provide future leaders an exposure to business issues associated with the day-to-day operations of a specific area, unit or department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Successful completion of the Owens&Minor College Internship program objectives.

  2. Apply academic learning into real-world supply chain experiences

  3. Assists in researching business problems including performing literature review and conducting data analysis.

  4. Assists assigned department with database management and project coordination.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:

Beginninghis or her junior or senior year of an accredited Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales or Business undergraduate program with a GPA as required of the program.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Prior work experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

General office equipment to include PC.

STRENGTH REQUIREMENT:
