Position Summary

Responsible for the support of simple to moderately complex financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, HFM, FDMEE and Essbase planning applications. Involved in the testing,  design, evaluation, implementation, update, maintenance and troubleshooting of these accounting systems.  Analyzes financial or operations data and generates accounting-  related reports to help inform leader business decisions.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.     Responsible for chart of account maintenance and mapping for over 20 legal entities; Coordinates any new local ERP account mappings into an existing HFM.

2.     May assist in the design of the budget/forecast web forms for data loading. Prepopulates the actual data in these scenarios. 

3.     Ensures data governance and synchronization for the various source systems and HFM.  May provide maintenance support for the KPI_PRE Essbase cube for data analysis during the accounting close.

4.     Creates and manages new or ad hoc reports for Corporate and Field Management assuring their timeliness and accuracy.  Works to improve and enhance the overall quality and integrity of information.

5.     Partners with internal teams (IT, Finance/Accounting, etc.) to resolve problems and issues related to finance/accounting platforms.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1.     Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, required.

2.     Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred.


3.     Minimum, two (2) years of work experience in a role encompassing both accounting/finance and technology development and implementation, required with participation in financial accounting designs, preferred.

4.   Experience with HFM, Hyperion Essbase, Smartview, Hyperion Planning or Oracle.

5.     Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.



KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1.     Basic understanding of accounting and finance functions; ability to read and interpret financial statements. Basic understanding of financial systems including General Ledger.

2.     Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools including: Excel, Word and Outlook & Accounting software.

3.     Ability to accurately document information in files, reports or other forms of communication. Able to summarize and present information.

4.     Ability to gather and analyze important data.  Ability to generate solutions and evaluate corresponding results.

5.     Strong organizational skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

6.     Ability to discern errors within highly complex or detailed work.

7.     Ability to research and analyze data. Strong problem-solving abilities.

8.   Project management skills with a demonstrated ability to set, track and report milestones.
