Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Educates patients on products and services', listens to concerns/addresses issues, provides informational literature and places supply orders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1.      Coaches direct reports to improve and effectively increases production.

2.      Answers questions from customer, clerical staff, insurance companies and physician offices.

3.      Makes outbound calls to obtain appropriate documentation.

4.      Processes orders using ERP system.

5.      Completes and tracks all payroll functions in a timely manner.

6.       Develops department and employee goals to enhance performance.

7.      Reviews daily, weekly and/or monthly reports.

8.      Informs staff of all applicable company changes and information.

9.      Interviews candidates for open positions, however has no hiring or firing authority.

10.  Addresses and resolves a wide variety of concerns and complaints from employees and customer's.

11.  Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.

12.  Addresses performance problems through corrective action with manager's guidance.

13.  Provides feedback to manager and director regarding identified trends.

14.  Maintains required performance standards.

15.  Coordinates and leads daily team activities.

16.  Conducts complex work important to the organization.

17.  Must have completed Customer Service training.

18.  Handles elevated calls, daily reporting to management.

19.  Completion of Supervisor training and courses.

20.  Schedules and conducts team meetings.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Performs additional duties as directed.


Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five or more years of experience

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand and utilize different communication styles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor regarding issues that arise.
  • Skilled in answering a telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Little or no traveling required (less than 10%)
