Job Description




Responsible for the management of the consolidated federal income tax compliance process and state income/franchise tax compliance process, inclusive of state income tax audits. Assists in the US GAAP tax provision.  Responsible with the administration of OneSource Income Tax (OIT) and OneSource Tax Provision (OTP).  Responsible for tax research related to complex federal and state compliance and planning issues.  Responsible for the supervision and management of junior Tax Department teammates.


1.       Responsible for review of the consolidated federal income tax and state income/franchise tax compliance functions and ensuring the accurate and timely filing of all income and franchise tax returns.  Responsibilities include assisting with maintaining and managing of the federal and state income tax compliance and tax provision software (OIT and OTP)

2.       Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of estimated and extension income tax payment calculations and the timely filing of the related returns, vouchers, and electronic funds transfers.

3.       Responsible for research and analysis related to complex tax issues reflected on the federal and state income tax returns, including tax accounting issues, nexus issues, and unitary and combined filing issues.

4.       Responsible for accounting for income/franchise taxes, including tax provision preparation and review and tax account analysis and reconciliation.

5.    Responsible for supervision of junior Tax Department teammates as required and requested on projects described above.


1.       Performs additional duties as directed by the Director, Income Taxes.

2.       Performs work using OneSource Income Tax, OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Estimates and Extensions software.



1.       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related discipline, required.

2.       Master's degree in Accounting, Tax or a related discipline, preferred. CPA preferred.

3.       Minimum, seven (6) years corporate income tax or public accounting, required.

4.       Minimum, two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferred.

5.       Experience with OneSource, preferred.
