POSITION SUMMARY

 

Processes all Information Technology (IT) related invoices for the entire distribution network, ensuring accuracy and completeness.  Ensures compliance with company accounting policy in fixed asset addition documentation.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1. Processes high-volume IT invoices for the company's network of distribution centers.

2. Responsible for accurate, complete and efficient tracking of all IT expenses.

3. Interacts with internal and external contacts, including vendors, IT department and procurement teams.

4. Validates invoices and routes payment requests through the appropriate approval chain.

5. Identifies and recommends opportunities to improve vendor invoice receipt and invoice processing.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

1.      Performs additional duties as directed.



Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), required
  • One year of accounts payable experience or data-entry experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheet applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and solve problems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work within and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to discern errors within complex and detailed work
