Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Standardizes and communicates all policy and procedures within the assigned Department. Provides technological enhancements support including but not limited to managing, scoping, and training the department on system improvements and changes.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1.      Creates training documents based on input from other departments affected by IT enhancements.

2.      Assists with the implementation and management of assigned projects.

3.      Provides and maintains project metrics pertaining to but not limited to processes, activities, resource management and deliverables.

4.      Creates and maintains required dashboards and reporting to effectively communicate status, risk, and return to all stakeholders.

5.      Ensures documentation is in compliance with corporate standards, establishes guidelines and is easily understood by the end-user.

6.      Oversees the management of all Reimbursement IT projects:  secures feedback from applicable parties, ensures testing is completed and reports back findings to IT.

7.      Provides training and mentoring to less experienced staff and new management.

8.      Reviews and standardizes all existing policies and training documents.

9.   Provides Webinar and GoTo Meeting training.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Performs additional duties as directed.


Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum of four years related experience or training
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care guidelines

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Basic business skills with moderate level of proficiency
  • Intermediate understanding of Cognos
  • Proficiency with MS office suite of applications, including MS Project and Visio
  • Strong relationship building skills, including the ability to build consensus among constituencies with diverse interests
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • The ability to set priorities, work on numerous initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Able to work effectively at all levels of organizations and influence toward a common vision or goal
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Active project management (e.g. CAPM) certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire   


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel up to 50% of the time and perform extended on site projects
  • May need to work extended hours on occasion
