POSITION SUMMARY

 

Envisions plans, develops and maintains platform solutions to support the company business strategies.   Supports IT strategies by overseeing the transformation, development, integration, and implementation of the assigned platform which supports various operations of the corporate business units. Integrates and enhances the assigned platform performance by utilizing heavy data integration in the business area assigned.   Has oversight of data gathering and availability to users. Works with management and executive teams to establish business priorities and meet user requests.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.      Collaboratively supports identified project stakeholders, department leads and operational teammates in the transformation, assessment, design and delivery of value generating platform.

2.      Manages technology strategy and platform strategy transformation and alignment in partnership with the assigned stakeholder group

3.      Manages platform through architecture, procurement and operational lifecycles while rationalizing end of life legacy platforms.

4.      Drives demand and portfolio planning for the assigned platform.

5.      Identifies and evaluates the impact of proposed or requested major changes to existing platform, transforming and  modifying them as necessary for cross-enterprise commonality and efficiency, and prepare them for assignment and execution after establishing appropriate priorities in conjunction with business management.

6.      Engages business stakeholders reinforcing the relationships and expectations of the platform; communicates and builds levels of credibility and trust that supports the delivery of value generating platforms; as well as, creating an environment that supports transformation, alignment and clarity to drive success.

7.      Analyzes proposals and functional change requests that impact the assigned platform; identifies omissions and errors in requirements; recommends optimum approach and develops systems and/or designs for approved projects.

8.      Directs the delivery of process improvement services and project management services to include "Best Practice" validation, documentation and execution services. Assesses and recommends operational and process related changes to enhance and support the sustainability of programs implemented.  Communicates with sponsors regarding milestone and goal achievement, roadblocks to success and recommendations to mitigate engagement challenges. 

9.      Provides leadership and direction to project teams; responsible for implementation planning, milestone and goal achievement, mitigation of engagement challenges, as well as profitability reporting management.

10.  Working with direct line supervisors, assesses and recommends adjustments to teammate assignments to efficiently and effectively deliver results. 

11.  Acts as Subject-Matter-Expert on implementation processes and contributes to the development of tools and materials to support delivery of the assigned platform.

12.  Manage the platform development team, including teammates, contractors, and vendors.   Collaborates on project planning and staff scheduling to ensure leverage of resources.

13.  Achieves minimum engagement metrics set at the beginning of each engagement such as: managing expenses to budget expectations; managing deliverables to expectations; tracking progress toward goals and reporting issues and concerns to stakeholders in a timely manner; creating and tracking a revenue and expense plan; and pursuing outstanding A/R balances should they occur.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1.      Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred

2.      Minimum of ten years in a senior IT role either in a corporate role or large agency

3.      Eighteen plus years of progressive IT experience; minimum of ten years direct supervisory experience

4.      A minimum of 5 years senior level experience in health care supply chain consulting services, or a minimum of 10 years of senior level experience in health care supply chain management

5.      International marketing experience/exposure is highly preferred

6.      Experience with Sales Force Information, Red Prairie, Oracle, hybrid on premises and cloud-based technology preferred
