Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Defines short and long-term global IT goals, including identification of key projects and initiatives.  Creates required reporting mechanisms for the organization with the responsibility of both reporting out to the wider organization and reporting within the function against objectives and goals.  Drives continuous improvement in the global IT function while ensuring effective working relationships with internal support functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing.  Leads the IT Program Reviews assuring sequencing of priorities, program execution, and status reporting.  Creates and promotes IT policy for project execution and audit.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1.       Aligns global strategic IT plans that define short and long-term objective realization, including key programs and associated cost savings in order to meet financial commitments and achieve net savings targets.

2.       Develops the global Leadership dashboard, ensuring monthly updates and are completed and reported out to the wider organization as required; plans teammate communications as required.

3.       Drives global leadership collaboration platforms.

4.       Leads global leadership communication plan for IT program execution and delivery.

5.       Leads functional team follow-up on actions agreed in Leadership Team meetings.

6.       Coordinates the prioritization and funding of all IT work globally.

7.       Oversees and drives all function-wide projects globally.

8.       Assists with preparing all global strategic reviews and business updates; manages all key metrics and provides insight into issues noted.

9.       Drives continuous improvement in the global function.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

1.      Performs additional duties as directed.



Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
  • Fifteen or more years of experience within relevant field; minimum of ten years direct supervisory experience
  • In depth knowledge of best practices and business strategies for functional area
  • International experience/exposure is required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Ability to travel up to 40%; includes international travel
