Job Description



Works closely with functional leadership and Transformation Office to ensure that project plans are implemented and key timelines are met through cross-functional team coordination.  Directs assigned initiative owners to ensure successful project completion.


1.       Develops and maintains detailed project management action work plans, project charters, budget and benefit tracking, meeting coordination, cross-functional coordination, project governance, and training requirements for functional Initiatives.

2.       Accepts ownership for assigned projects and ensures on schedule project completion.

3.       Acts a work-stream owner and liaison to Transformation office responsible for driving enterprise-wide functional initiatives and projects.

4.       Analyzes project risk and proposes mitigation approaches, including establishing contingency plans and providing transparency for projects.

5.       Drives project teams to specific outcomes while holding them accountable to defined deliverables/results.

6.       Works effectively with Information Technology in support of project initiatives.

7.       Reports project results and updates as required to the function and other company representatives.


1.       Performs additional duties as directed.



  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • PMP certification required
  • Five (5) or more years of direct project management experience required
  • Experience utilizing PM software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Notes, etc.
  • Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or related area preferred
  • Or any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements

  • Occasional travel
  • May work extended hours on occasion
