Job Description

  1. Reviews quotes and revisions performed by Quote Specialist I to ensure adequate training based on customizations of trays.
  2. Oversees, assists and provides guidance to senior prototype & sequencing specialist & the team for assembling of sample trays to meet customers specifications & managing workload.
  3. Support, train, and evaluates improvement opportunities for all of Quoting, Prototype, Product Engineering, & Quoting Product Specialists functions & maintains required documentation.
  4. Performs assessment for annual performance review and / or appropriate corrective actions as needed.
  5. Reviews, assigns appropriate code in the ERP system, & process changes to GPO accounts based on contractual requirements
  6. Completes, maintains, & modifies notifications for Letters of Commitment (LOCs) & Group Purchasing Designations, based on contractual requirements
  7. Oversees, assists, and provides guidance for completing Premier Price Activations
  8. Reviews and adds the required administrative fees and/or additional labor adjustments required for CPTs
  9. Oversees, evaluates, processes, and coordinate requests & changes without-sourced suppliers for sales representatives requests.
  10. Reviews Lost Business Report and make the required changes in the ERP system and process any related files.
  11. Oversee the reviews, evaluations, and suggested improvements for complaints sent by the Product Engineering Coordinator by working with department, sales representative, and Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Department.
  12. Provide assistance to Production, Planning, and/or Procurement for any questions regarding the tray and/or component requirements for the customers.
  13. Reviews, supports, and/or resolves quotes, prototypes, and sales representatives with unique custom tray requests.
  14. Develops and streamline processes with outsourced suppliers.
  15. Assists and/or serves as backup with Line Item Pricing projects for customers
  16. Assists with special projects for sales representatives, customers, and sales management team
  17. Assumes additional responsibilities/duties as requested by immediate supervisor, other management personnel , or as business need dictates.

 Supervisory Responsibilities:
  1. Manages the Quoting Specialists, Prototype and Sequencing Specialists, Product Engineering Coordinator, and the Quoting Product Specialist
  2. Assists and provides guidance to entire team in regards to quoting / revisions, assembling of sample trays to meet customers specifications, and all department responsibilities.

  1. Minimum requirement is an Associates Degree in Business Management or a related field and/or a minimum of five years experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment working with building custom procedure trays.

  3.  Must be able to communicate professionally with employees, customers and vendors in person and on the telephone.

  12. Must be able to operate standard office equipment.

  13. Must possess strong attention-to-detail.

  14. Ability to support the fiscal year inventory process.
