Highly autonomous position that will manage consulting projects, assess customer needs and develop proposals (solutions). Develop project plans and manage optimization, warehouse design and outsourcing projects. Coordinate project teams that design and implement projects. Responsibilities include work/task design and management, testing and implementation of new processes, on-site consulting and process flow re-design. Responsible for determining resources and skill levels necessary to ensure project success. Work directly with the area management team in planning and administering overall project responsibilities. Coordinate directly with external consultants involved with projects and direct their activities accordingly.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Produce, maintain, and report project plan results. Accountable to the Area Solutions Director for developing and then meeting project milestones and dates.
  2. Develop resource requirements and communicate resource issues when necessary.
  3. Communicate project-related tasks and issues to hospital management. As necessary, assist management in assigning new responsibilities.
  4. Conduct and provide risk assessments to Home Office and Hospital management to include project milestone dates and timeliness.
  5. May be responsible for assessing training needs, designing training programs, and delivery of training.
  6. Manage Logistics projects such as gather customer data and perform on-site assessments.
  7. Communicate results of the assessment to customers as well as proposals to meet customer requirements.
  8. Responsible for testing activities associated with new workflow processes and procedures.
  9. Conduct detailed analysis of customer data, including data preparation, conversion and manipulation, to identify trends and business opportunities.
  10. Implement projects.
  11. Document progress and processes.
  12. Manage change control, deadlines and issue resolution.
  13. Provide specific functional or technical expertise for other projects (IT, Clinical, Logistics).

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Perform additional duties as directed.
  2. Arrange site visit with customers.


STRENGTH REQUIREMENT:

Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Talking is important for those activities in which workers must impart oral information to clients or to the public, and in those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

Hearing
Perceiving the nature of sounds. Hearing is important for those activities which require ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on running engines.

QUALIFICATIONS

A. EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:

Broad knowledge of an advanced and technically or professionally specialized discipline or other studies not available in the undergraduate schools. Masters degree and/or CPA/CPE is preferred.

Demonstrated competency in 2 of 3 disciplines: Clinical, Logistics and/or Information Technology

B. WORK EXPERIENCE:

Requires work experience equivalent to three to five years in healthcare and/or logistics.

C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Excellent communication skills.
Exhibits professional demeanor.
Demonstrates understanding of healthcare logistics Strong project management skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. Intermediate to advanced PC skills in Excel, Access or equivalent
