Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Completes assigned Quality tasks to include process, software, and test method validations; product testing; sterilization validations and routine testing, calibration, as well as other support duties described below.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1.       Coordinates process and sterilization validation/QE Test activities with production, warehouse, and Quality Assurance.

2.       Performs and documents product testing in support of validations and QE Tests.

3.       Assists Quality Engineer in preparing protocols and summaries for Validation and QE tests as needed.

4.       Coordinates product testing with other teammates to support validation activities.

5.       Secures quotes and generates purchase requisition for 3rd party dose audit testing program.

6.       Prepares dunnage and production product for use in EO Sterilization Validation loads.

7.       Manages calibration system and coordinates calibration requests with appropriate teammates.

8.       Identifies test equipment to be repaired.

9.       Secures quotes, generates purchase requisitions, and ships/facilitates test equipment requiring external calibration.

10.   Manages air and temperature monitoring systems.

11.   Manages material stored in QE Test location.

12.   Supports and maintains productions process control equipment.

13.   Provides input to Quality Engineer regarding validation, calibration, and testing plans.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

1.      Performs additional duties as directed.



Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  

1.       Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1.       Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

2.       Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

3.    Knowledge of FDA quality system requirements

4.    Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality and results
