Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to serve as the primary regional source of communication between home office and the field team, to track and coordinating all sales initiatives, business growth opportunities for the region, to cultivate and develop relationships with vendors, strategic partners and the various home office teams to identify ways to continue to leverage and support with one another, increase speed to execution on projects and initiatives and ensure continuous engagement and collaboration. In this role, the individual will be responsible for working with the home office, field team develop SOP's and maintain a Regional SharePoint site, create customer strategy session agendas & presentations, build business case & ROI documents, collect information for and draft RPF responses, maintain Regional Account Plans, create and update Regional reports & internal RLT presentations, as well as manage & communicate project plans, timelines and next steps. This role is also responsible for communication to the customer around all major initiative and project status updates and next steps as well as to serve as the liaison for the customer and the field team to assist with coordinating and engaging any additional resources needed, providing additional support and increasing the speed to execution on all major projects and initiatives in the region by ensuring all parties are in sync, expectations and timelines are communicated clearly and correctly and key stakeholders remain engaged. Utilizing a single resource to coordinate and disseminate the flow of information between the home office, the field team, vendors and customers we will be better able to manage and control speed to respond, the consistency and quality of our communication.

Primary Role/ Responsibilities

1.       Responsible for maintaining all sales initiatives and reporting to manage and track sales growth opportunities for the region

a.        (Regional Program and Services Pipeline, Contract Compliance, At-risk and Expiring contracts, pursuit activity with  EVP/RLT)

2.        Develops and maintains regional relationships with key strategic partners and with the home office strategic supplier & manufacturer teams to drive innovation and collaborative partnerships to provide value & savings to our customers.

a.        (3M, Avid, MC, GPO's, etc.)

3.        Establish relationships with the home office teams and serves as a liaison for the field team and home office teams to work through contract compliance issues, contract renewal proposals, RFP development to improve speed of resolution and completion of proposals.

4.         Collaborates with the corporate Marketing, OMU, and Communications team to ensure all company announcements are communicated & reinforced in region and serves as a point of contact to develop regional materials and ways to continue to strengthen & grow our brand.

5.       Provides communication (internally and to the customer) during the implementation process for new business opportunities and pursuit account projects with the EVP, RLT and field team.

6.        Facilitates and coordinates all activity with internal teams, outside vendors and Regional customers to provide continuous communication and a single point of contact for increased speed to execution and to provide a consistent customer experience.

7.        Contact for scheduling strategy sessions, QBR's and project meetings

8.        Designs and develops ROI documents to present to the customer to articulate the value of our programs and services

9.        Coordinate and facilitate regional events for both the Ops and PS teams:

a.        (Internal & external): 

b.       Team trainings/ retreats

c.       Monthly RLT meetings

d.       Customer DC/ RDC visits/ QBRs/ Strategy Sessions

e.       Community outreach events

f.        Vendor fairs & conferences

g.       Home office meetings for the RLT or customers

10.   Providing regular communication to the field team

a.        (Regional updates, newsletters, announcements, maintaining regional email distribution lists, SOP's and SharePoint site, coordinating regional calls)

11.     Create and maintain regional presentations (internal or external) to ensure consistency and clarity of messaging.

12.   Collaborates & supports the RLT and field team with pilot programs, development of new processes or materials needed in the region as we continue to grow and transform.


Performs additional duties as directed.



Four year undergraduate degree required and specialized training in computer systems, MIS, or data management and reporting.



                At least four to six years' experience, preferably in a position that required an attention to detail, data management and data reporting.


A.   Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to perform in a dual reporting relationship.

C.   Strong PC skills with a good understanding of Excel, Word and Access software.

D.   Planning and organizational skills.

E.    Good verbal and written communication skills.

F.    Detail oriented.

G.   Ability to work under structured supervision, independently and as part of a team.

H.   General understanding of margins and margin trends.

I.     Demonstrated coordination and project management skills.
