Leads the development and delivery of Transportation network modeling; balancing cost, quality and service. Provides analytical support and guidance related to all Transportation modes; with focus on dedicated fleet financial models and reporting. Supports a team of transportation professionals in the effective and efficient execution of all daily transportation operations, with additional responsibility to continuously improve results in quality, service and cost performance.    Develops innovative solutions for long-term objectives for each area of the Transportation department.  Supports Transportation planning system enhancements to meet business growth and customer expectations for the future.


1.       Develops transportation network models that minimize total cost to serve while maximizing network service levels.

2.       Develops and delivers the analysis of dedicated fleet, freight in/out (FTL, LTL and parcel) and expedite expenses in line with overall company goals.

3.       Facilitates and drives initiatives and processes that support a culture of continuous improvement. 

4.       Partners with cross-functional teammates to develop and realize improved freight results, including carrier performance and overall cost.

5.       Supports the operational execution of the Transportation network by developing and delivering analytics, metrics, and KPI's to support the continuous improvement of the Transportation network and expected financial performance.


1.      Performs additional duties as directed.



  •  Four-year undergraduate degree required, preferably in Logistics and Transportation
  •  At least 2-3 years of analytical or planner experience in logistics and/or transportation required


  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an in-depth understanding of transportation and logistics
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate complex issues and programs to all levels of the organization
  • Experience working with and/or implementing a transportation management system
  • Proven ability to analyze data and draw conclusions, making recommendations to senior leadership based on that analysis


  •   Ability to travel up to 5% - 10%
