Job Description


Collaborates with Owens & Minor stakeholders to design software solutions to satisfy business needs in accordance with enterprise architectural standards.  Leads a development team in building projects from inception to completion.


  1. Establishes architecture, infrastructure, technologies, and frameworks for all software solutions deliverables.
  2. Participates in architectural meetings, and analyzes all technical requirements for .NET applications.
  3. Researches industry trends and best practices to develop technology recommendations and methods to stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Provides architectural consultation, support, mentoring, and guidance to project teams and developers.
  5. Helps to define and implement IT development best practices, standards, and processes.
  6.  Performs code reviews to ensure the code base and application architecture adheres to established standards. 



  •       Bachelors Degree required
  •       Ten more years of IT development or systems design experience required
  •       Or any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements


  • Experience building and deploying PaaS/IaaS applications in a cloud environment (Azure cloud preferred)
  • Experience in UX design, information architecture, solution prototyping, and agile web development processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sound software design principles and patterns is required
  • Knowledge of technical design documentation methodologies and technologies (Visio, UML, object modeling, etc.)
  • Senior level experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC / Razor, Entity Framework, WCF and full-stack development
  • Experience with Html, CSS, and JQuery.  Angular or React a plus.
  • Experience designing and implementing databases with SQL Server, Oracle a plus.
  • Senior level experience of APIs, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and interface design 
  •  Experience with product evaluations and selection, buy-or-build
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally


  • May work extended hours on occasion
  • Experience in health care related industry.
