POSITION SUMMARY

Works with business shareholders to design software solutions to satisfy business needs in accordance with enterprise architectural standards and lead the development team to build projects from inception to completion. 



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.       Establishes architecture, infrastructure, technologies, and frameworks for all deliverables.

2.       Participates in architectural meetings and analyzes all technical requirements for .NET applications.

3.       Researches industry trends and best practices to develop technology recommendations and methods to stakeholders at all levels.

4.       Provides architectural consultation, support, mentoring, and guidance to project teams and developers.

5.       Helps to define and implement IT development best practices, standards, and processes.

6.       Performs code reviews to ensure the code base and application architecture adheres to established standards.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.      Performs additional duties as directed.



Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Ten more years of IT development or systems design experience required
  • Or a combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Experience in UX design, information architecture, solution prototyping, and agile web development processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sound software design principles and patterns is required
  • Knowledge of technical design documentation methodologies and technologies (Visio, UML, object modeling, etc.)
  • Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC / Razor, Entity Framework, WCF and full-stack development
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JQuery, Ajax
  • Experience designing and implementing databases with SQL Server; Oracle experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and interface design
  • Experience with product evaluations and selection, buy-or-build
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally
