Job Description


The Sr. IT Project Manager manages the design, development and delivery of assigned IT projects. Assists in the adoption of Agile methodologies across the Enterprise. Serves and supports the development team by guiding and coaching the adoption of Agile/Scrum practices, while ensuring that the team delivers on their commitments. Acts as liaison between the business, 3rd party vendors and IT to ensure seamless project execution.  Monitors progress to ensure scope, schedule, budget and quality align with project targets.  Assigns duties, prepares status reports and educates the Project Implementation Team in the areas of processes and project management requirements. 


  1. Leading global project teams on large scale, highly complex Software Development and IT consolidation projects
  2. Leading and coaching assigned project team(s) in Agile adoption.
  3. Coaching team members to understand scrum and the Agile principles.
  4. Influencing change, increasing team performance at a sustainable pace.
  5. Facilitating discussion and conflict resolution within assigned project teams.
  6. Facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other scrum ceremonies.
  7. Facilitating quarterly planning and guides team in establishing their quarterly commitments.
  8. Developing metrics and reports to help the assigned project team(s) understand their health and progress; uses these same metrics and reports to set appropriate goals.
  9. Developing metrics and reports to assist Executive team understand overall project health and progress


1.       Performs additional duties as directed. 



  •  Five (5) or more years relevant Program/Project Management experience
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams
  • Ability to work independently with light supervision
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to define issues, business/technology needs, and implement solutions
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new business and technology


  • Experience with Enterprise Project Portfolio Management tools such as CA PPM, or Planview PPM
  • Experience with Enterprise Agile Planning tools such as Azure DevOPs, JIRA, Salesforce Agile Accelerator or CA Agile Central
  • DevOps experience
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with .NET platforms
  • Experience with other Lean/Agile framework and methods, i.e.: Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc
  • Scrum Master experience
  • SAFe Practitioner (SP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Fluent in user story creation, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, facilitating retrospectives, handling defects, velocity, and task definition
