Job Description

The Supplier Relations Analyst performs vendor maintenance on Supplier Master File application and other business applications. Collects and maintains risk attributes from Suppliers, including but not limited to business terms and conditions, insurance certification and indemnification.  Responsible for timely, accurate and complete vendor communications of O&M policy and operational changes (i.e. new warehouses, change of addresses, etc.)  Collects and analyzes supplier data surrounding acquisitions, new customers, ISC conversions.   Supports management on requirements and testing for Process and System upgrades to Vendor related applications (i.e. OMNI, PMF, Rollstream etc.).  Performs analytics on vendor compliance to requirements, department performance and creates necessary decision support information.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintains supplier file data in OMNI, PMF, Rollstream and other applications
  2. Maintains data to include all attributes for active and discontinued suppliers.
  3. Supports Field and Corporate teams by validating and managing questionable supplier data, terms and conditions.
  4. Analyzes and establishes new data through review and verification; process new data within departmental timeframe.
  5. Coordinates and manages all supplier communications or surveys through Rollstream. Assists in analyzing, investigating and updating supplier certificates of insurance and/or Indemnification Agreements in conjunction with third party service provider.
  6. Works collaboratively with Category Management, Product Development and other teams on supplier files needs. 
  7. Assists management in design, development and testing of new applications or system upgrades.
  8. Initial Point of contact for all vendor issues for internal O&M teammates and vendor contacts.  In addition, assists internal and external customers with basic supplier issues and projects.
  9. Works collaboratively with suppliers to initiate EDI transaction sets.
  10. Perform necessary analytics on vendor compliance to requirements, and department performance.
  11. Point of contact between O&M Accounts Payable & Contracts departments and the vendor community

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

            A.         EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:

                        High school diploma required plus additional broad training equal to 2 years.

            B.         WORK EXPERIENCE:

                        At least one year (up to and including) three years.

            C.         KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • Ability to think analytically
    • Ability to review and audit statistical information
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
    • Skill in using automated and manual equipment
    • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
    • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
    •  Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Keen attention to detail
    •  Strong organizational skills
